Any.do requires users to set up an account, in order to save tasks 24/7 and sync across multiple platforms, making your data accessible to you from anywhere you sign in! Setting up your Any.do account is easy! Our Android, Web and desktop apps support log-in using FB or Google accounts, or by choosing a standard email and password login. On iOS and Mac, the same options apply, as well as a log-in with an Apple ID. 

Your Any.do Profile includes your name, email, Any.do subscription plan and an optional profile photo. You can change your profile information and preferences at any time. You are also able to reset your password and sign out from your profile page.

All of your data is kept securely on our hosted servers and can not be accessed by unauthorized parties. Our host – Amazon Web Services – is one of the world’s largest hosting services, trusted by numerous corporations. All transportation from the client to the server is encrypted. More information about privacy and GDPR compliance, can be found in the instructions below. 

Be advised that any time preferences set in your device, will be used for your Any.do profile as well. By default, Any.do adjusts itself to your device’s time, but this can be manually overridden on some devices as instructed below.

Android

✔️ To create an account using Google:

  1. From the login page, tap on “Continue with Google”.
  2. You’ll be directed to a screen where you can sign in or create your account. 
  3. Tap on Sign In, and you’re all set!

✔️ To create an account using Facebook:

  1. From the login page, tap on “Continue with Facebook”.
  2. You’ll be directed to a screen where you can log in or create your account. 
  3. Tap on Log In, and you’re all set!

✔️ To create an account using a standard email and password:

  1. From the login page, tap on “Continue with Email”.
  2. Type in your email, then tap on “Done” on your keyboard.
  3. Type in you name, and choose a password.
  4. Tap on “Create Account”, and you’re all set!

✔️ To log-in to your account:

  1. Open up Any.do on your device.
  2. Choose the same option as you have created the account with.
  3. Follow the steps to log-in.

✔️ To log-out from your account:

  1. Go to your Any.do Settings.
  2. Tap “Profile” under Account.
  3. Tap on “Sign-out”.

✔️ To change the account email:

  1. Go to your Any.do Settings.
  2. Tap “Profile” under Account.
  3. Update your email by tapping the icon to the right.
  4. Tap “Done” on your keyboard.

If you are trying to change your email but keep seeing the message “Oops, something went wrong”, then you are probably trying to change to an email that already has an account associated with it. In order to fix this, you need to delete the account associated with the other email first.

✔️ To change the account name:

  1. Go to your Any.do Settings.
  2. Tap “Profile” under Account.
  3. Update your name by tapping the icon to the right.
  4. Tap “Done” on your keyboard.

✔️ To change the account password:

  1. Go to your Any.do Settings.
  2. Tap “Profile” under Account.
  3. Change your password by pressing “Reset Password”. A reset email will be sent to your account’s email address.

You can also update your picture, under “Profile”, by tapping directly on it (saves locally, per session only).

If you are unable to log-in to your account, you can reset your account password. Simply choose “Continue with Email”, type in your account’s email address, and click on “Forgot password”. A reset email will be sent to your account’s email address, click on the link and follow the steps.

✔️ To delete your Profile: 

  1. Go to your Any.do Settings.
  2. Tap “Profile” under Account.
  3. Select “Delete Account.”

Note: If you’re a Premium user, make sure to first cancel your plan as simply deleting the profile will not cancel it for you and future payments may still occur. Keep in mind that account deletion is irreversible

iOS

  2. Choose the same option as you have created the account with.

  3. To change your password, press “Reset Password.”
