How to Cancel Your Any.do Subscription: Apple, Google Play, Huawei, and Web

Find the correct place to cancel your Any.do plan, understand what happens after cancellation, and learn how refunds work based on where you subscribed.

Updated today

Canceling an Any.do subscription can feel confusing, especially if you are not sure where you originally upgraded or if you have more than one active plan. Some users subscribed through the Apple App Store, others through Google Play, Huawei, or directly through Any.do on the web. In some cases, users also have more than one plan at the same time, such as a personal Premium plan plus a Family or Workspace plan.

This guide is here to make the process clearer. It will help you identify the correct billing source, cancel the right subscription, understand what happens to your plan after cancellation, and review the refund information that may apply to your case.

Before you begin, you may also want to check:

❗ Note: Deleting your profile or uninstalling the app will not be considered as cancellation or a refund request.

🔍 First, make sure you are canceling the correct Any.do plan

Before canceling anything, it is very important to confirm which subscription you are trying to stop. This is where many users get confused.

Some important things to keep in mind:

  • Premium, Family, and Workspace are separate subscriptions

  • canceling one plan does not automatically cancel another plan

  • if you have more than one active plan, you need to cancel each one separately if you do not want any future charges

  • the place where you cancel depends on where that specific plan was originally purchased

For example, canceling a Premium subscription does not also cancel a Family or Workspace subscription. In the same way, canceling a plan through Apple does not affect a separate plan that may be billed directly through Any.do.

🧭 How to find where your Any.do subscription is managed

The correct cancellation steps depend on where the subscription was purchased. In most cases, the billing provider that handled the upgrade is the same place where you must cancel it. Your Any.do subscription may be managed through:

  • Apple App Store - Premium and Family plans only

  • Google Play - Premium and Family plans only

  • Huawei - Premium plans only

  • Any.do directly through web checkout - Premium/Family/Workspace plans

If you are not sure where the subscription was created, start by checking:

  • the email address where you receive billing confirmations

  • your bank or card statement for names like Apple, Google Play, Huawei, or Any.do

  • your subscription details in the app or web account (under Settings => Profile for Premium plans or Settings => Manage Space for Workspace (Teams)/Family plans).

If you have more than one Any.do plan, repeat this check for each active subscription. If you need assistance, don't hesitate to contact our Support Team.

🔵 How to cancel an Any.do subscription purchased directly through Any.do

If your Any.do subscription (Premium/Family/Workspace) was purchased directly through Any.do, you must cancel it through the Any.do Web or Desktop app. To cancel a direct Any.do subscription:

👑 Direct Premium subscriptions

If you have a direct Premium subscription, you can cancel your plan from your profile billing area:

  1. Open Any.do on Web at https://app.any.do/ from any desktop device or through the Desktop apps

  2. Go to Settings

  3. Open My Profile

  4. Select Manage Subscription

  5. Select 'Leave Premium' and confirm.

If you have a direct Family/Workspace subscription, you can cancel your plan from the space-management screen (admins only):

💡 If you have more than one direct Any.do plan, make sure you are canceling the correct one.

🤔 What if you have more than one Any.do subscription?

Some users keep more than one active plan at the same time. For example, you may have a Family/Workspace trial plan and also be the billing owner of a Premium plan.

In that case, it is very important to understand that each subscription is handled separately. If you do not want future charges at all:

  1. Check every active Any.do subscription you have

  2. Identify where each one is billed

  3. Cancel each subscription separately through its own billing provider

Canceling only one plan will not stop billing for your other active plans.

⏳ What happens after you cancel your Any.do subscription?

Canceling a subscription usually stops the next renewal, not the current billing period. In most cases:

  • your paid features remain active until the current billing cycle ends

  • you will not be charged again after the cancellation takes effect, unless another active subscription still exists

  • once the billing period ends, access will return to the level supported by the remaining plan or by the Free plan if no paid plan remains active

If you have multiple plans, the features available after cancellation may depend on which subscriptions are still active.

💸 How refunds work for Any.do subscriptions

Refunds are handled through the same platform where the subscription was originally purchased. This means that refunds are ultimately issued through Apple App Store, Google Play, Huawei, or Any.do directly, depending on the billing source.

That said, the refund eligibility period is the same regardless of where the plan was purchased with accordance to our TOS.

⏳ Refund eligibility by plan

  • Premium subscriptions are eligible for a refund if requested within 48 hours of the payment being processed

  • Family subscriptions are eligible for a refund if requested within 48 hours of the payment being processed

  • Monthly Workspace subscriptions are eligible for a refund if requested within 48 hours of the payment being processed

  • Yearly Workspace subscriptions are eligible for a refund if requested within 14 days of the payment being processed

Please note that partial or prorated refunds are not offered after this eligibility period.

💬 How to request a refund

If your refund request falls within the eligible period, please contact the Any.do Support Team directly with your account details. When submitting your request, make sure to use the same email address as the upgraded account, as shown under Settings → Profile in your app. This is required for identification and authorization.

📲 Important notes App Store purchases (Apple, Google Play, Huawei)

  • For subscriptions purchased through Apple App Store, refunds are issued by Apple. Users are still encouraged to contact the Any.do Support Team first, so we can help clarify eligibility and explain how to submit the refund request properly through Apple.

  • For subscriptions purchased through Google Play or Huawei, users can also contact the Any.do Support Team directly for refund assistance, as long as the request falls within the eligible refund period.

⚠️ Important refund guidelines to keep in mind

Refunds and cancellations are not the same thing. A few important things to remember:

  • canceling a subscription stops future renewals, but it does not automatically create a refund

  • if a refund is approved, it does not always mean other active subscriptions are also canceled/refunded

  • if you have multiple plans, each one is reviewed and managed separately

  • third-party purchases follow the third-party provider’s own refund process

This is especially important for users who may have both a personal plan and a shared plan at the same time.

🙋‍♂️ FAQs

🧭 How do I know which Any.do plan I need to cancel?

You need to check which subscription is still active and where it is billed. Premium, Family, and Workspace are separate subscriptions, so canceling one does not automatically cancel the others.

🍏 Why didn’t canceling my Any.do subscription in Apple stop my other Any.do charges?

Because you may have more than one active Any.do subscription. Canceling the Apple-billed plan only affects that specific Apple subscription. Any other active plan billed through Google Play, Huawei, or Any.do directly must be canceled separately.

🤖 Can I cancel my Any.do subscription inside the app if I paid through Google Play?

You need to cancel the subscription through Google Play, because Google controls that billing relationship.

🌐 Can I cancel my Any.do subscription on the web if I bought it through Apple or Google Play?

No. If the subscription was purchased through Apple or Google Play, it usually must be canceled through that provider’s own subscription settings.

💸 Will I get a refund if I cancel my Any.do subscription?

Not automatically. Cancellation only stops future renewals. Refund eligibility depends on where the subscription was purchased and whether the request falls within the relevant refund policy.

👥 What happens if I cancel Premium but still have Family or Workspace?

Your Family or Workspace subscription will stay active unless you cancel those separately. Canceling Premium only affects the Premium subscription itself.

📅 Will I lose access immediately after canceling my Any.do subscription?

In most cases, no. The subscription usually stays active until the end of the current billing period, and then it stops renewing.

🧾 Who should I contact for a refund?

If you purchased through Apple, Google Play, or Huawei, contact that provider. If you purchased directly through Any.do, contact the Any.do Support Team.
