The iOS Badge serves as a quick reminders of the number of tasks you have pending in total, in a specific list or under the Today section. The badge is the small red circle (with a number) on the corner of the app icon. The number you see is relevant to the number of tasks or things you have to take care of. By default, the badge represents how many tasks you have for Today, but the badge is customizable (per the instructions below). You may also choose to disable it, if you prefer.

To change what the badge represents:

1. Head to your Any.do Settings.

2. Select ‘App Badge’ under Preferences.
