Any.do’s Task View is where you will find everything that you need to manage, organize and prioritize your lists and tasks. From here you can view your tasks, edit them, complete or retrieve them, see your notifications, jump to the Grid View and utilize the Grocery List feature (iOS only at this time). The view is minimally designed to keep your focus on your action items, filtered by Time categories (Today, Tomorrow, Upcoming and Someday) or List. When choosing to filter by List, you will be able to see your tasks by the order of lists you’ve set up in the Grid View.  When filtering by Time, tasks will be automatically sorted per their reminder date. The tasks within this section won’t be organized by chronological order though, in order to allow manual reordering. To view tasks in chronological order, switch over to the Calendar View.

The Task View features a Quick-Add Bar for easy creation of tasks, next to a simple + icon to create tasks using the Full View. When first entering it, it will display the All list, which can be changed by going to the Grid View. At the top you will find your Notifications Center, as well as a compact menu from which you can export, print or filter your tasks as well as clear all completed ones. From that menu you can also upgrade your account, activate the Any.do Moment feature or fire up the manual sync. Last, you may find the Any.do “Smart Cards” right along your notification, presenting you with useful tips or tricks for getting the most out of the app.
