Use your keyboard to move faster between views and edit tasks without extra clicks

Keyboard shortcuts are quick key combinations that help you do common actions in Any.do without reaching for your mouse.

They are perfect if you want to:

  • jump between My Day, Next 7 Days, and All Tasks

  • open Search instantly

  • bulk edit tasks using Multi-select

  • edit tasks faster (rename, reminders, tags, lists, subtasks)

🧭 View and navigation shortcuts

Use these to quickly move around the app:

  • 1 - Open My Day

  • 2 - Open Next 7 Days

  • 3 - Open All Tasks

  • ⌘ F - Open Search

  • L - Add a new personal list


🧩 Task and editing shortcuts

Use these to update tasks faster:

  • B - Toggle Multi-select (bulk editing)

  • ⇧ S - Clear completed tasks (personal tasks)

✏️ Edit the selected task

These shortcuts apply to the task you currently have selected/open:

  • ⌘ βŒƒ U - Edit task name

  • ⌘ βŒƒ R - Add a reminder

  • ⌘ βŒƒ T - Change tag

  • ⌘ βŒƒ O - Change list

  • ⌘ βŒƒ S - Add subtasks

No. Keyboard shortcuts are available on Web and Desktop only.

🧠 Why don’t my shortcuts work?

Make sure Any.do is the active window, and click anywhere inside the app before trying again.

🧹 What does β€œClear completed tasks” do?

It removes completed tasks from the current personal list view. It does not delete your account data.

It turns Bulk Editing on/off, so you can select multiple tasks and update them together.
