Any.do + ChatGPT

Connect Any.do with ChatGPT to manage tasks and events using natural language, through seamless interaction and easy organization.

Connect your Any.do account to ChatGPT to manage tasks, set reminders, work with boards, and check your schedule through conversation.

The Any.do plugin brings your tasks and calendar into ChatGPT. Ask what’s coming up, create tasks while discussing a project, or set a reminder without leaving your chat.

The following instructions are for the ChatGPT plugin by Any.do. For the MCP instructions, please see here.

🚀 How to install the Any.do plugin

You’ll need a ChatGPT account and an Any.do account.

  1. Open the Any.do plugin page in ChatGPT and sign in if prompted.

  2. Select Install plugin.

  3. Follow the prompts to connect your Any.do account. Connection may be requested during installation or when you first use the plugin.

  4. Review the requested permissions and authorize the connection.

  5. Start a new chat, type @, and select Any.do. Then describe what you’d like to do.

You can also find Any.do by opening Plugins in ChatGPT and searching for Any.do.

💡 Connect the same Any.do account you use on your other devices to work with your existing tasks and lists.

Users are always free to uninstall the plugin at any point in time from under Settings => Plugins in their ChatGPT app.

✅ Manage personal tasks and lists

Use ChatGPT to find tasks, create lists, add tasks, and work with subtasks.

Try:

  • “Show my Any.do lists.”

  • “Find my tasks due this week.”

  • “Add ‘Prepare the presentation’ to my Work list.”

  • “Create a list called Weekend errands.”

  • “Add ‘Review the budget’ as a subtask of ‘Prepare the presentation.’”

Include the list or task name when you want ChatGPT to work with a specific item.

🔔 Set reminders

Ask ChatGPT to add a reminder to a task or set up a recurring reminder.

Try:

  • “Remind me to call Alex tomorrow at 10 AM.”

  • “Remind me to review my expenses every Friday at 4 PM.”

Specify the date, time, and repeat schedule when relevant.

👥 Work with Workspace boards and tasks

The plugin also supports Workspace boards, sections, and tasks available to your connected account.

Try:

  • “Show the boards in my workspace.”

  • “List the sections in my Marketing board.”

  • “Create a task called ‘Review launch copy’ in the To do section of my Marketing board.”

  • “Show completed tasks in my workspace from last week.”

Include the workspace, board, and section names where relevant so ChatGPT can identify the right destination.

📅 Check and manage calendar events

The plugin works with calendars connected to your Any.do account.

Try:

  • “Show my calendar events for tomorrow.”

  • “What meetings do I have this week?”

  • “Create a 30-minute project review tomorrow at 2 PM in my Work calendar.”

If you have multiple calendars, specify which one to use.

✏️ Review proposed changes

Supported task and calendar edits can appear in a review interface. Check the proposed changes and apply them when they look right.

If ChatGPT asks for clarification, provide the missing details before continuing.

🔄 Moving from the previous Any.do custom GPT

Install the new plugin and connect your Any.do account using the steps above. You’ll then access Any.do from your ChatGPT conversations instead of opening the old custom GPT.

Your existing tasks remain in your Any.do account.
