Refunds & Cancellations

What is it?

When it comes to switching, cancelling or even refunding plans – we believe in full transparency. Cancellations can be easily done per the payment platform each users chooses to pay through, while refund will be issued per our TOS. To learn more, see below. 

Who has access?

  • All paying members.

How does it work?

  • Changing plans:
    • Users are able to easily switch their subscription plans whenever needed.
    • If credit is applicable, it will transferred to the new plan.
  • Cancellations: 
    • Users can cancel their subscription at any point in time.
    • If you cancel your plan, you will still be able to use the Premium features until the end of the billing period, afterwards your account data will still remain available under the Free status.
    • To cancel your subscription plan, see instructions below per the payment platform you upgraded through.
    • Be advised that cancelling a plan is not the same as submitting a refund request.
  • Refunds: 
    • Per our TOS, subscription purchases are eligible for a refund if requested up to 48 hours upon your payment being processed.
    • We do not offer any partial or prorated refunds after this period. 

Note: Deleting your profile/ uninstalling the app/ inactivity will not be considered as cancellation or a refund request.

How to switch payment plans

Cancelling plans

 

To cancel your Premium/ Trial subscription via Google Play

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play app .
  2. Check if you’re signed in to the correct Google Account (the one used for paying).
  3. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  4. Tap Payments & subscriptions  Subscriptions.
  5. Locate Any.do‘s subscription plan and select it.
  6. Tap ‘Cancel subscription’.

To cancel your Premium/ Trial subscription via Huawei AppGallery

  1. Go to Settings > Account center > Payment and purchases > Subscriptions.
  2. Alternatively, open AppGallery, and go to Me > Account center > Payment and purchases > Subscriptions. Then, select Any.do and choose ‘Cancel Subscription’.

To cancel your Premium/ Trial subscription via Apple

  1. Open the iOS Settings app.
  2. Tap your name.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Tap on Any.do
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription. You might need to scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button. If there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.

To cancel your Premium/ Trial subscription via Stripe

Log into the Web app from any desktop browser (not via a mobile device). Then:

  1. Open the Settings menu from your left side panel (avatar icon/wheel icon).
  2. Go to Profile.
  3.  Choose Manage Subscription → Leave Premium.

You will still be able to enjoy Premium features until the original subscription expires, but you won’t be charged. Keep in mind that simply cancelling the subscription will not ensure a refund.


To cancel your Workspace Trial via the Web/ Desktop apps

The Admin of the workspace can cancel the subscription plan from the workspace management screen.

  1. Open the settings menu from the top left settings icon/ profile image next to your profile name.
  2. Under the workspace settings, select “Manage workspace”.
  3. Click on the 3 dots menu.
  4. Select ‘Delete Workspace’.

To cancel your Workspace Subscription via the Web/ Desktop apps

The Admin of the workspace can cancel the subscription plan from the workspace management screen.

  1. Open the settings menu from the top left settings icon/ profile image next to your profile name.
  2. Under the workspace settings, select “Manage workspace”.
  3. Click on the 3 dots menu.
  4. Select cancel subscription.

Note: Once the subscription is canceled it will not be renewed in the next billing period but will stay active until the subscription period ends. If you are not interested to see your workspace you can just delete it.

Refunds

 

To receive a refund for Premium/ Teams or Workspace subscriptions

Per our TOS, subscription purchases are eligible for a refund if requested up to 48 hours upon your payment being processed.

We do not offer any partial or prorated refunds after this period. 

If you are eligible for a refund please reach out to our team via the Contact Form with your Any.do account’s email address (for identification and authorization). 

Note: Deleting your profile or uninstalling the app will not be considered as cancellation or a refund request.

Invoicing and payment providers

 

If you are using Any.do on iOS or Mac

Odds are you either used Apple or Stripe. To confirm, please reach out to our team via the Contact Form with your Any.do account’s email address (for identification and authorization). 

You can also try to locate your receipts and invoices as App Store sends them via email after your purchase.

The invoice can also be found under your iOS subscriptions. 

  • On mobile:
  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Tap your name, then tap “Media & Purchases” and sign in as needed.
  3. Tap “Purchase History”.
  • On Mac devices:
  1. Open the Music app or iTunes.
  2. From the menu bar at the top of the screen, choose “Account”, then click “View My Account”.
  3. Scroll down to “Purchase History”.
  4. Click on ‘See All’.

If you are using Any.do on Android

Odds are you either used Google Play or Stripe. To confirm, please reach out to our team via the Contact Form with your Any.do account’s email address (for identification and authorization). 

You can also try to locate your receipts and invoices as Google Play sends them via email after your purchase.

The invoice can also be found under your google play subscriptions. 

  1. Visit Google Pay.
  2. Sign in to your Google account.
  3. Click Activity.
  4. To get your receipt, select an order.

If you are using Any.do on a Huawei device

Odds are you either used Huawei AppGallery or Google Play. To confirm, please reach out to our team via the Contact Form with your Any.do account’s email address (for identification and authorization). 
If you purchased from the Huawei AppGallery you can find your invoice: 

  1. From the AppGallery click “My”.
  2. Go to the Account center page
  3. Select Payment and purchases > Purchase history.
  4. Find the payment record, and click on Billing details.

If you are using Any.do on Web or Windows

Odds are you used Stripe. To confirm, please reach out to our team via the Contact Form with your Any.do account’s email address (for identification and authorization). 
You can also check from the Web App open to app Settings-> ‘My Profile’-> Manage Subscription.
