How to cancel your Any.do subscription

Step by step guidelines to cancelling all types of subscription plans.

We understand that your productivity needs are constantly changing. However, if there are any issues that might impact your use of the app, we strongly encourage you to reach out to our Support Team before making any final decision.

If you still want to cancel or even get a refund for your plan - we believe in full transparency. Cancellations can be easily done according to your specific subscription plan and selected payment platform, while refunds will be issued per our TOS.

Our general guidelines for cancellations and refunds are as follows:

  • Cancellations:

    • Users can cancel their subscription at any point in time.

    • If you cancel your plan, you will still be able to use the upgraded features until the end of the billing period, afterwards your account data will still remain available under the Free status.

    • To cancel your subscription plan, see instructions below per your subscription plan and the payment platform you upgraded through.

    • Be advised that cancelling a plan is not the same as submitting a refund request.

  • Refunds:

    • Refunds are issues during the eligibility period only (see details below) and per our TOS.

    • We do not offer any partial or prorated refunds after this period.

Note: Deleting your profile/ uninstalling the app/ inactivity will not be considered as a cancellation or refund request.


👑 How to cancel your Any.do Premium plan/trial

We're sorry you wish to cancel your plan! If there's any technical/billing/workflow issue which is preventing you from taking full advantage of our plan, please contact our Support Team and they will gladly offer relevant solutions 🤓

If you're certain you with to cancel, you may follow the relevant instructions below per your selected payment method. Not sure which payment method you've used? See details below.

🤖 To cancel your Premium Trial/Plan via Google Play

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play app.

  2. Check if you’re signed in to the correct Google Account (the one used for paying).

  3. At the top right, tap the profile icon.

  4. Tap Payments & subscriptions Subscriptions.

  5. Locate Any.do's subscription plan and select it.

  6. Tap 'Cancel subscription'.

❗Note: After the cancellation you will still be able to enjoy Premium features until the original subscription expires, but you won’t be charged. Keep in mind that simply cancelling the subscription will not ensure a refund.

🏮 To cancel your Premium Trial/Plan via Huawei AppGallery

  1. Go to Settings > Account center > Payment and purchases > Subscriptions.

  2. Alternatively, open AppGallery, and go to Me > Account center > Payment and purchases > Subscriptions. Then, select Any.do and choose ‘Cancel Subscription’.

❗Note: After the cancellation you will still be able to enjoy Premium features until the original subscription expires, but you won’t be charged. Keep in mind that simply cancelling the subscription will not ensure a refund.

🍏 To cancel your Premium Trial/Plan via Apple

  1. Open the iOS Settings app.

  2. Tap your name.

  3. Tap Subscriptions.

  4. Tap on Any.do

  5. Tap Cancel Subscription. You might need to scroll down to find the Cancel Subscription button. If there is no Cancel button or you see an expiration message in red text, the subscription is already canceled.

🔵 To cancel your Premium Trial/Plan via Stripe

Log into the Web app from any desktop browser (not via a mobile device). Then:

  1. Open the Settings menu from your left side panel (avatar icon/wheel icon).

  2. Go to Profile.

  3. Choose Manage Subscription.

  4. Leave Premium.

❗Note: After the cancellation you will still be able to enjoy Premium features until the original subscription expires, but you won’t be charged. Keep in mind that simply cancelling the subscription will not ensure a refund.


🎁 How to cancel a gifted Any.do Premium trial

Some promotions and collaborations can provide a limited-time trial entirely for free with no strings attached. These plans will simply expire on their own after the end of the trial and no payment will be deducted. There are also no payment details associated with these plans.

If you were signed up to such a plan and do not wish to use it, please contact our Support Team and they will disable the free status for you 🤓

🤖 To cancel your Family Trial/Plan via Google Play

  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Play app.

The Admin of the space can cancel the subscription plan from the space management screen.

Log into the Web app from any desktop browser (not via a mobile device). Then:

  1. Open the settings menu from the top left settings icon/ profile image next to your profile name.

  2. Under the space settings, select “Manage space”.

  3. Click on the 3 dots menu.

  4. Select cancel subscription/ trial.

🆓 To cancel your Teams (Workspace) Trial

The Admin of the workspace can cancel the subscription plan from the space management screen.

Log into the Web app from any desktop browser (not via a mobile device). Then:

  1. Open the settings menu from the top left settings icon/ profile image next to your profile name.

  2. Under the space settings, select “Manage space”.

  3. Click on the 3 dots menu.

  4. Select 'Delete space'.

🚫 To cancel your Teams monthly/yearly plan

The Admin of the workspace can cancel the subscription plan from the space management screen.

Log into the Web app from any desktop browser (not via a mobile device). Then:

  1. Open the settings menu from the top left settings icon/ profile image next to your profile name.

  2. Under the space settings, select “Manage space”.

  3. Click on the 3 dots menu.

  4. Select cancel subscription.

💡 Note: Once the subscription is canceled it will not be renewed in the next billing period but will stay active until the subscription period ends. If you are not interested to see your space you can just delete it.

Note: Cancelling your Teams plan will block access to the Workspace for all associated members. If you wish to simply change your payment method or switch admins, see here.


↩️ How to apply for a refund for your Any.do subscription

Refunds are available for all users within their plan's eligibility period and per our TOS:

  • Premium subscription purchases are eligible for a refund if requested up to 48 hours upon your payment being processed.

  • Family subscription purchases are eligible for a refund if requested up to 48 hours upon your payment being processed.

  • Monthly Teams subscription purchases are eligible for a refund if requested up to 48 hours upon your payment being processed.

  • Yearly Teams subscription purchases are eligible for a refund if requested up to 14 days upon your payment being processed.

Be advised that we do not offer any partial or prorated refunds after this period.

If you are eligible for a refund please reach out to our Support Team through the widget on this site or from your Any.do app (under Settings - Support). Make sure that you're submitting your request using the upgraded account's email address, as it appears under Settings - Profile in your app (for identification and authorization).

Note: Simply deleting your profile or uninstalling the app will not be considered as a cancellation or refund request.


🎯 FAQs

🧐 I'm not sure which plan I'm subscribed to.

If you're not sure which plan you've subscribed to, the following guidelines will help you to identify your plan:

  • Check the account status in your app under Settings - Profile. It will indicate if the account is Premium/ Family or Teams.

  • Check if you have a space active in your account. If so, you probably have a Family or Workspace (Teams) account.

  • Check if you have additional members in your account or if you're able to share boards. If so, you probably have a Family or Workspace (Teams) account.

  • Only Premium and Family plans can currently be upgraded via Apple and Google Play so if that's where you see your subscription/invoice your plan is mostly like one of those.

If you're still not sure or need assistance, please reach out to our Support Team with your Any.do account's email address (as it appears under Settings - Profile in your app), for identification and authorization.

🧐 I'm not sure what payment method I upgraded with.

No worries, the following guidelines will help you to identifying your payment method:

  • Check the subscription details in the Web app at https://app.any.do/ from any desktop browser, under Settings - Profile. It will indicate the billing method you're using.

  • If you have an Apple, Google Play or Huawei Store accounts - check in your subscription if you can locate 'Any.do'.

  • If you own a Premium or Family plans, we recommend checking Google Play/Apple for your subscription first. If the plan is not showing there, then most odds are that your plan was created directly with us (Stripe).

  • If you own a Teams plan that your plan was created directly with us (Stripe).

  • If you recall upgrading directly with us (using a credit card), your plan is through stipe.

  • If your credit card/bank statement is showing Google Play or Apple, the plan is handled through the relevant app store.

  • If your credit card/bank statement is showing 'Any.do' only, then most odds are that your plan was created directly with us (Stripe).

🚨 My account was upgraded to Premium without my permission.

It sounds like you were simply gifted a free Premium trial 🤓 To learn all about this promotion and how to cancel, see here.

💯 Can I get a prorated refund?

Since our prices and discounts rely on the period of the subscription plan you've selected, there will be no option to issue a prorated refund. If you're within the eligibility period or the Premium/ Family or Teams plan you may simply apply for a full refund as explained above.

👥 I added a Workspace (Teams) member by mistake, can I have a refund for that member only?

If you're within the eligibility period, you can definitely get a full refund per the details here. That said, you may also opt to save that money as credit the will simply roll to your next renewal 🤓 To learn more, see here.

🗑️ I deleted my account, will I be issued a refund?

Refunds are never issued automatically, even if you choose to delete the app from your device or delete your account. Only eligible users per the guidelines here may submit a refund request.
