How to log in, log out, and switch accounts in Any.do

Learn how to access your Any.do account safely, sign out on a device, and switch between multiple accounts.

Welcome back. Logging in to Any.do is usually quick, as long as you use the same sign-in option you used when you created your account. This guide also explains how to log out (for example, before selling a phone or using a shared computer). If you manage more than one account, youโ€™ll also learn the safest way to switch between them without losing access to your tasks.

A few quick checks that prevent most login problems.

  • If you signed up with Google, Facebook, or Apple, you usually need to keep using that same option to log in.

  • Your Any.do account is connected to one email address. You can check it under Settings โ†’ Profile when youโ€™re logged in.

  • If you are switching devices, logging in with the same account is what restores your tasks and reminders.

  1. Open Any.do.

  2. On the welcome screen, choose the same sign-in method you used when you created your account:

    • Email

With each new session, Any.do will send a short verification code to confirm itโ€™s really you.

  1. Check Spam, Promotions, and Trash.

  2. Search for an email from [email protected].

  3. Search your inbox for the subject line โ€œYour Any.do Verification Codeโ€.

Logging out signs you out only on that specific device. After you log out, reminders and widgets on that device will stop updating until you log back in.

  1. Open Any.do.

  2. Open any list or board.

  3. Tap the 3-dot menu (top right).

  4. Tap Settings.

  5. Tap Profile.

  6. Tap Sign out.

If you use more than one Any.do account, switching is done by logging out and logging back in. This keeps your data separated and prevents mixing tasks between different accounts.

If you are logged in on any device, open Settings โ†’ Profileto view the email on the account. If you are logged out everywhere, contact support and include any email addresses you may have used: Any.do Contact Form.

If you created your account with Google, Facebook, or Apple, youโ€™ll usually need to keep using the same sign-in option. In many cases, you can also set an Any.do password by using Forgot password (with the email shown in Settings โ†’ Profile).
