The task chat is where users are able to see all task updates. The chat was specifically designed to keep all stakeholders up to date by easily sharing thoughts and ideas. From there, you can view the entire task’s history and have the option to communicate with your team. You can also mention members for a faster reply and add comments.
Availability:
The following user-types can take advantage of this feature:
Family users - admins & members.
Teams users - admins & members.
The feature is available on both our mobile and web/desktop apps (functionality-based, see below).

Each task has a designated Activity section showing all updates created per that specific item
The chat option is available through the Activity section of the Board tasks
Within the chat users can mention collaborators and share important progress updates
