Get an in-depth view of your personal and board tasks for the next 7 days!

The "My Day" view was designed to help users focus on their missions for the current day, making sure that tasks that are due later, don't get in your way. Space members will be able to see this week's board tasks assigned to them in this view on the desktop platforms, sorted by week days.

Availability:

The following user-types can take advantage of this feature:

  • Personal users (free).

  • Premium users.

  • Family users.

  • Teams users.

The feature is available on both our mobile and web/desktop apps.


How does it work?

  • The 7 days view is available through the app's navigations screens.

  • This view can show tasks sorted by weekdays.

  • The 7 days view is where you can manage, organize and prioritize all of this week's tasks.

  • For users that have a Space, on the desktop platform they can toggle the bar next to the title to see the board tasks assigned to them displayed by the next 7 days.

  • Space users can also choose to hide or unhide overdue tasks.


⚙️ General Display Options

📅 To launch the Next 7 Days view

  1. From the home menu.

  2. Tap on "Next 7 Days".

To exit the view tap on the home menu.

💻 To launch the Next 7 Days view on Web/ Desktop

  1. From the Navigation pane on the left side of the screen.

  2. Click on "Next 7 Days".


🔀 To switch between the Personal and Space displays

Next to the 'Next 7 Day' view title, toggle the name of the space to see all of the board tasks assigned to you. Toggle back to 'My Lists' to view all of your personal tasks.

⏳ Time categories

The Next 7 days will sort your tasks by the day for the week.

  • The first column - will show you tasks that are due today or overdue items.

  • The second column - will show you tasks that are due tomorrow.

  • The third, fourth, fifth, sixth, and seventh columns - will show you tasks that are due on the day of the week.

Tasks without a due date or tasks that have a future due date (not for the next 7 days) will not show in this view. You can also choose to add items directly to these categories for easy set up of due dates and reminders on the mobile apps:

📱To add a task to a specific day of the week on Android/ iOS

  1. Tap on the + icon next to the category.

  2. Add your task accordingly.

  3. An auto-reminder will be set per the time category you've added to:

    1. Today - the task will get a reminder for the current day 5 minutes away.

    2. Tomorrow - the task will get a reminder for the next day 5 minutes away from the current time.

    3. Other days of the week - the task will get a reminder for the specific day of the week 5 minutes away from the current time.

💻 To add a task to a specific day of the week on Web/ Desktop

  1. Click on the "+ Add Task" at the bottom of the category.

  2. Add your task accordingly.

Note: Auto-reminders are preset and cannot be customized. If you prefer adding your own reminders, you may simply add the tasks from the quick-add bar as normal.

👤 Managing Personal Tasks

📱To add a personal task on Android/ iOS

  1. Add a task from the quick add bar or by the + option.

💻 To add a personal task on Web/ Desktop

  1. Type in the task title from the "Add task".

💡 For personal tasks, you can also add tag\due date\ assign a list from the icons above the input.


⚙️ To change the sorting of tasks to list/time

Note: This option is only available in the Personal Tasks display. Board tasks will always display by time categories.

📱To change the sorting of tasks to list/time on Android/ iOS

  1. Tap on the menu three dots on the top right corner of your list.

  2. Select 'Sort'.

  3. Choose between ‘Time’ sorting and ‘List’ sorting.

💻 To change the sorting of tasks to list/time on Web/ Desktop

  1. Click on the menu next to the list’s title.

  2. Next to “Sort by” tap on “Time” or “List”.

Note: On the desktop version there is only sorting by time.

  1. Open the "Filter" menu.

  2. Select to filter by List, Tag, or Status.

  1. Tap on the three dots menu on the top right corner of your list.

  2. Select the "Clear"

💻 To clear personal completed tasks on Web/ Desktop

  1. Open the 3 dots menu.

  2. Click on "Clear completed"

Note: This option is only available in the Personal Tasks display.

  1. Add a task from the quick add bar or by the + option.

  1. Type in the task title from the “Add task”.

💡 For board tasks you can add tag\due date\ assign a board from the icons above the input.


⚙️ To change the layout of the tasks

  1. Open the 3 dots menu.

  2. Select "Compact" to see more tasks per column.
