Easily assign members to tasks

The chat was specifically designed to keep all stakeholders up to date by easily sharing thoughts and ideas. From there, you can view the entire task’s history and have the option to communicate with your team. Item owners can also be mentioned in the task’s activity for progress updates or brainstorming.

Availability:

The following user-types can take advantage of this feature:

  • Family users - admins & members.

  • Teams users - admins & members.

The feature is available on both our mobile and web/desktop apps.


🛠️ How does it work?

  • Each task has a designated Activity section showing all updates created per that specific item

  • The chat option is available through the Activity section of the Board tasks

  • Within the chat users can mention collaborators and share important progress updates

  • Once a member has been mentioned they will get a board notification

There are 2 options:

  1. Open a task and press the chat and activity icon (💬).

  2. Open the 3 dots menu and press “Comment”.

🗣️ How to mention a member in a task

  1. Open a task and press the chat and activity icon or open the 3 dots menu and press the “Comment” icon.

  2. Use the @ option on the keyboard and type in the members name.

  3. Select the members you want to mention.

  1. Open the chat and activity icon or swipe to the right.

  2. Use the @ option on the keyboard and type in the members name.

  3. Select the members you want to mention.

The other user will get a board notification of the mention and will be able to respond.

Note: You can use @Everyone to notify all members of the board and @Assignees to notify the members assigned to the specific task.
