The smart suggestions engine

 

What is it?

The Smart Suggestions Engine is here to help you plan out your work for the day. Each day it will offer you with tailored recommendations for action items which require your attention, based on an algorithm that uses different parameters like due dates, priorities and more. You can even enable suggestions from other apps you use to add them as tasks or user the search option to look for specific actions items.

Who has access?

How does it work?

  • Find the most relevant tasks for the current day by using the Smart Suggestions Engine
  • Filter out tasks, lists and sections that you don’t want to see on the suggestion menu.
  • Add tasks that were due yesterday or due today in bulk to My Day.
  • Search for specific items through the Suggestion Engine.

  • Connect external suggestions, to have tasks from other apps suggested through this engine.

How to open the suggestions menu

✔️ Web

  1. Open My Day view from the left menu.
  2. Open the suggestion menu from the right side.
  3. From there you can access the Suggestion Engine.

✔️ Android/ iOS

For the suggestions:

  1. Open My Day view from the home menu 
  2. Press on the suggestion menu on the bottom right side.

How to add single/bulk suggested tasks

✔️ Android/ iOS

To add a single task:

  1. Open My Day view from the home menu 
  2. Press on the bottom My Dayview.
  3. Open the suggestion menu on the bottom right side to and press on the tasks you want to add. You can also search for a task on the top.

To add all tasks that were in the My Day view before it reset.

  1. Open Suggestion Engine.
  2. Click “Restore from yesterday”.

To add all tasks that are due today:

  1. Open Suggestion Engine.
  2. Click “Due today”.

Note: At this time adding to My Day yesterday and todays tasks can be done from the mobile apps only.

✔️ Web

To add a single task:

Open My Day view from the left menu then open the suggestion menu from the right side and click on the task you would like to add.

How to search/filter suggested tasks

✔️ Web

  1. Open My Day view from the left menu.
  2. Open the suggestion menu from the right side.
  3. From there you can access the Suggestion Engine.
  4. Type in your search on top.

If you want to filter suggested tasks, press the 3 dots menu of the suggested task-> “Don’t suggest this task” or “Don’t suggest tasks like this”.

To reset filter suggestions:

  1. Open the settings menu from the top left settings icon/ profile image next to your profile name.
  2. Click on “My Day”.
  3. Click on “Reset filter suggestions”.
  4. Press “Yes” to remove all suggestions.

Note: At this time the filter and reset filter options can be set from web only.

✔️ Android/ iOS

  1. Open My Day view from the home menu 
  2. Press on the suggestion menu on the bottom right side.
  3. Type in your search on top.

How to select external apps for suggestions

✔️ Web

  1. Open the settings menu from the top left settings icon/ profile image next to your profile name.
  2. Click on “My Day”.
  3. Click on “External suggestions”.
  4. Toggle on apps you would like to get suggestions from.

Note: At this time this settings option can be set from web only.
