π€ How to create your Any.do account
Your Any.do account profile is where you manage all settings, personal preferences, and private information such as your name and email. The profile is linked to an email address, not a mobile number or specific device, and can be created directly or using third-party services like Google, Apple, and Facebook. Note that your profile can only be linked to one email address.
Users have various options to create an account for maximum convenience and security. The method you use to create your account will also be used to log in, although you can switch to the standard email option by resetting your password.
Note: Your Any.do account's profile can only be associated with a single email address.

If you're looking to add another layer of security, then you're welcome to connect your Any.do app with your Apple ID. We offer a designated Apple log-in button on iOS and Mac devices as well as on our Web app.
When using an Apple ID, users will have the option to create their account by either:
Using their visible Apple ID - meaning that their Any.do account will be created with their Apple ID's email address.
Using a hidden Apple ID - which will have Apple generate a random email address for your account (visible under Settings - Profile).
Note: After creating your account with Apple, you will need to use the Apple log-in button every time you wish to access your account. The email and password option will not be available for Apple users and if they choose the hidden option they will need to continue using it every time they log in.

In your Any.do account's Profile, you can easily set your accountβs avatar, edit your name and email, and change your password as needed. By managing these elements, you can ensure your profile reflects your identity and stays secure. Each Any.do account can be personalized with an avatar (image) that will be reflected in the account's Profile page. This avatar will also be used in Teams (Workspace) and Family boards, indicating the assigned member. We highly recommend adding an avatar when sharing items as it significantly helps in quickly identifying assigned tasks π€

Each Any.do account can be associated with a single email address. This email will be used whenever you log in and also for different functions like emailing personal tasks to your account. It will also be used for verifying the account in different circumstances so we always recommend setting it to an email that is fully accessible from your end.
In case you ever need to change the email address associated with your account, you can quickly do so from any mobile device:

Tap the Home button on the left lower corner of your screen.
Open any list\board\calendar view.
Tap the 3 dots menu on the top right corner and choose 'Settings'.
Tap 'Profile' under Account.
Update your email by tapping the pencil icon to the right.
Tap 'Done' on your keyboard.

As you set up your Any.do account, you can add your full name as part of your profile. This name will also be used to create the initials that will show on shared items (in case you did not add an avatar). If you wish to change this name you can easily do so as follows:

Yes, in order to sync your data across all platforms 24/7 and make sure you never lose a thing, we require users to create an account. Be advised that there is no option to save information locally without creating an account.

You might be using an incorrect password or trying to change to an email that already has an account associated with it.
Ifyou are not sure if you have another Any.do account associated with the email address to which you are trying to associate your account, try signing into the app using that email.
If you are unsuccessful, contact our support team.
If you are able to log into this account, you can delete it by going to Menu β Settings β Profile β Delete account. You can then log into your other Any.do account and change the associated email to this email address.
Be advised that if you used an external ID to create your account (such as Google, Facebook or Apple), you will need to create an Any.do password first in order to make these changes. You can do this by simply using the 'forgot password' link with your external ID's email address via the standard email log-in option.

If youβre experiencing issues registering or logging into Any.do with your Apple ID, the best way to fix the issue is to reset the IDβs permissions and try accessing the app once again via the Apple log-in. You may find step-by-step instructions on how to disconnect Any.do from your Apple ID below. If the problem persists after this, please contact our team here and they will gladly assist you.
Open Apple ID setting:
iPhone or iPad: Open the Settings app, then tap [your name]. Tap Password & Security. Tap Apps Using Your Apple ID.
Mac: Choose Apple menu, then click System Preferences. Click Apple ID, then choose Password & Security -> Click Edit.
Web: Sign in to your Apple ID account page, here. Go to the Security section, then go to Apps & Websites using Apple ID-> Select Manage.
In your Apple ID account settings, you see a list of apps that you use with Sign in with Apple. Please select Any.do.
Select Stop Using Apple ID, then choose Stop Using.
When you stop using your Apple ID with an app, youβre signed out of the app on your device. Now, you can simply reopen Any.do and log back in with your Apple ID.
