Use Any.do hands-free with Siri & Apple Reminders, perfect for adding tasks, brainstorming ideas, or setting quick reminders on the go. This exclusive iOS feature syncs tasks directly to and from your Any.do account to your Apple Reminders app.
Just tell Siri "Remind me to..." with your task details, and the task will be added to your Any.do account automatically. You can then move tasks to other lists in Any.do as needed or keep them in the Apple Reminders list to maintain the sync with your Apple Reminders app.
π‘ Note: While Teams and Family users can use this integration for their personal lists, items canβt be added directly to boards via Siri & Apple Reminders at this time. You can opt to move these tasks to your boards after creation via the main app.
π How to enable the Siri & Apple Reminders Integration
This integration can only be activated via an iOS device. While all tasks will sync across all platforms, the initial integration must be made from an iPhone/iPad device.
After downloading the app for the first time on your iOS device, you will be asked if you'd like to activate the Siri & Apple Reminders integration. If you skipped this option or decided to wave the activation, you may always opt in from your app's Settings screen:
Go to your Any.do Settings.
Turn "Siri & Reminders Sync" to ON.
π‘ Note: Once this integration is activated, a new personal list titled "Apple Reminders" will be added to your Any.do account, under which all new items created via Siri will be added.
π£οΈ How to add tasks to Any.do using Siri
Once you've activated the integration, you can add new tasks to your Any.do account by simply saying "Siri, remind me to..." followed by the task's title and reminder date. The task will then be added to the 'Apple Reminders' list in Any.do, syncing back and forth.
Note: Commands like "open Any.do" or "add to Any.do" wonβt work with Siri. Make sure to always add tasks per the above details.
π How to move Apple Reminders tasks to other lists
Once tasks are added to your 'Apple Reminders' list, you can move them to any other Any.do list by simply dragging and dropping or changing their location from the task-menu. This can be done immediately through the main Any.do app, on any device youβre using.
Additionally, you can move items from any standard Any.do list to your 'Apple Reminders' list, and they will sync back and forth between Any.do and Apple Reminders, ensuring all your tasks stay updated across both platforms:
