Color tags help you visually organize your personal tasks by category, urgency, or workflow. This guide covers how to create, apply, edit, and filter color tags on all supported platforms.

  • 🟑 Free: Can apply the default yellow "Priority" tag only (cannot be renamed or edited)

  • βœ… Premium: Can create unlimited custom color tags

  • βœ… Family: Same as Premium, within the personal space

  • βœ… Workspace: Same as Premium, within the personal space

βž• Creating and Applying Tags

Apply color-coded tags to your personal tasks for better organization and prioritization. Only Premium, Family, and Workspace users can create new color tags. Free users can only use the yellow Priority tag.

  1. Open a task

  2. Tap the tag icon or scroll to the tag section

  3. Select an existing tag or tap Add New Tag

  4. Choose a color and label, then tap Save

  1. Open a task

  2. Click the tag icon

  3. Select an existing tag or click Add New Tag

✏️ Editing or Deleting Tags

Customize or remove your personal tags as needed.

  • The default yellow Priority tag cannot be renamed, edited, or deleted on any plan.

  • Custom tags can be modified or deleted by Premium, Family, and Workspace users.

⚠️ Deleting a tag removes it from every task it was applied to. This cannot be undone.

  • Open a task β†’ Tap the tag icon β†’ Tap the tag you want to edit

  • Change the name or color, or delete the tag entirely

  • Open a task β†’ Click the tag icon β†’ Click the edit icon next to any custom tag

  • Update or delete the tag as needed


❌ Removing Tags from a Task

Detach tags from tasks without deleting them entirely.

  • Mobile: Tap the X on the tag or uncheck it from the tag menu

  • Web/Desktop: Uncheck the tag or click the X next to it

Filter your personal tasks by tag to focus on specific workflows or priorities.

  1. Go to Task View

  2. Tap the 3-dot menu β†’ Tap the filter icon

  3. Select one or more tags

  4. Tap Apply
