πŸ”§ How to Add Personal Tasks

You can easily add tasks on any platform by simply using our quick-add bar:

πŸ“± On Mobile (Android & iOS)

  1. Tap the Quick Add bar or the + icon in any list or time category.

  2. Type your task title.

  3. Optionally, add due date, tag with our Smart Type options.

  4. Tap Save or pull the task menu down to save.

πŸ’‘ You can also use voice-input or widgets to create tasks quickly.

πŸ’» On Web/Desktop

  1. Type your task in the input bar at the bottom of any list.

  2. Click the icons above the input to add tags, list, or due date.

  3. Press Enter to save.

πŸ’‘ Note: The task title has a limit of a 1000 characters.


✏️ Editing Task Details

To edit a task on any platform:

  1. Tap or click the task to open the Task Menu.

  2. From there, you can change:

    • Title

    • Due date and reminder

    • Assigned list

    • Tags and notes

    • Subtasks and attachments

πŸ’‘ Note: The task title has a limit of a 1000 characters.


πŸ”„ Moving Tasks Between Lists

You can move any personal task to a different list from the task menu:

  • Tap the List dropdown

  • Select the new list

You can also drag and drop tasks between lists in the All Tasks View (sort by 'List' and drag and drop). You can use the same drag and drop functionality to reorder tasks within any specific list.

πŸ’‘ Note: In the desktop platform, you can also drag and drop the task to a different list from the left navigation menu.


🧩 Managing Subtasks

Break down big tasks into smaller steps using subtasks.

βž• Add a Subtask

  • Mobile: Open a task β†’ Scroll to Subtasks β†’ Tap + New Subtask

  • Web/Desktop: Open a task β†’ Click Click here under "Subtasks" to begin typing

βœ… Complete a Subtask

  • Mobile: Swipe left to right on the subtask

  • Web/Desktop: Check the circle next to the subtask

✏️ Edit or Reorder Subtasks

  • Tap/click a subtask to rename

  • Drag & drop to reorder

πŸ’‘ Remember to pull down or tap Save on mobile to apply changes.

❌ Delete a Subtask

  • Mobile: Swipe the subtask, tap the gray X, then Save

  • Web/Desktop: Hover, click the X icon next to the subtask

⚠️ Deleted subtasks cannot be restored.
