Set your iOS app's badge get an instant overview of your upcoming tasks!

The iOS Badge serves as a quick reminders of the number of tasks you have pending in total, in a specific list or under the Today section.

Availability:

The following user-types can take advantage of this feature:

  • Personal users (free).

  • Premium users.

  • Family users.

  • Teams users.

The feature is available on mobile apps only.


πŸ› οΈ How does it work?

  • The badge is the small red circle (with a number) on the corner of the app icon.

  • By default, the badge represents the number of tasks you have pending for Today.

  • The badge can be customized to your preference, and you may also choose to disable it, if you prefer.


πŸ”’ The Badge options

The app's badge can be set according to the following options:

  • Tasks for today - with this option the badge will show the number of tasks with a due date for today.

  • All Tasks - with this option the badge will show the number of all items under the All Tasks view in your app.

  • My Day - with this option the badge will show the number of active items listed in your My Day view.

  • (List Name) - with this option the badge will show the number of active tasks under the specific list you've chosen.

  • No Badge - with this option the badge will be disabled and no task-count will show.

  1. Head to your Any.do Settings.

  2. Select 'App Badge' under Preferences.

  3. Select the desired option.
