Any.do

The External suggestion feature is a great solution for people who use multiple platforms for task and project management and want to plan their day in one single place.  Under the My Day preferences, you can link a variety of popular apps in order to see suggestions from other platforms under your My Day suggestions. Enjoy the convenience of a single view for managing all of your action items.

- Personal users (free).
- Premium users.
- Family users.
- Teams users.
- Supported on web/desktop.

You can add items from the following external service straight to My Day suggestions:

- Trello
- Asana
- Clickup
- Monday
- Todoist

Completing these items in Any.do will not sync back to the relevant services.

The sync is continuous and will continue to import items to the My Day suggestions. 

Suggestions do not act as tasks and can't be edited or transferred to personal lists. If you have a workspace and want to import tasks from external providers please see the <a href="https://support.any.do/en/articles/8634373-third-party-workspace-imports">Third Party Imports</a> page.

👀 <b>How to view suggested items from External apps</b>

Open the settings menu from the top left settings icon/ profile image next to your profile name.

Toggle on apps you would like to get suggestions from.

A pop up page will open to login to your external app account.

1. Open the settings menu from the top left settings icon/ profile image next to your profile name.
2. Click on “My Day”.
3. Click on “External suggestions”.
4. Toggle on apps you would like to get suggestions from.
5. A pop up page will open to login to your external app account.

Note: At this time this settings option can be set from web only.

🔗  How to unlink suggested items from External apps

Open the settings menu from the top left profile image\icon.

Un-Toggle on apps you would like to remove suggestions from.

1. Open the settings menu from the top left profile image\icon.
2. Click on "My Day".
3. Click on "External Suggestions"
4. Un-Toggle on apps you would like to remove suggestions from.

Open the suggestion menu from the right side panel.

From there you can access the Suggestion Engine.

1. Open My Day view from the left menu.
2. Open the suggestion menu from the right side panel.
3. From there you can access the Suggestion Engine.

➕ How to add a task from the suggestion menu

Open My Day view from the left menu then open the suggestion menu from the right side panel and click on the task you would like to add.

💡 Note: From the suggestion menu from the right side panel you can also search for a task if needed.
