Profile and Log-in
Why do I need an account?
- To start using Any.do, simply create an account completely for FREE via the app’s log-in screen on any of the supported platforms.
- Any.do requires users to set up an account, in order to save tasks 24/7 and sync across multiple platforms, making your data accessible to you from anywhere you sign in.
- Your data is kept securely on our hosted servers and can not be accessed by unauthorized parties.
- Our host – Amazon Web Services – is one of the world’s largest hosting services, trusted by numerous corporations. All transportation from the client to the server is encrypted. More information about privacy and GDPR compliance, can be found in the instructions below.

How to setup?
- Depending on the platform, users can create and log-in to their accounts via FB/ Google/ standard email and password and even via their Apple ID.
- Your Any.do Profile includes your name, email, Any.do subscription plan and an optional profile photo.
- You can change your profile information and preferences at any time.
- You are also able to reset your password and sign out from your profile page.
Creating an account
To create an account using Google
✔️ Android/ iOS/ Web/ Mac/ Windows
- From the login page, select “Continue with Google”.
- You’ll be directed to a screen where you can sign in or create your account.
- Tap on Sign In, and you’re good to go!
To create an account using Facebook
✔️ Android/ iOS/ Web/ Windows/ Mac
- From the login page, select the Facebook icon.
- You’ll be directed to a screen where you can log in or create your account.
- Tap on Log In, and you’re good to go!
To create an account using Apple ID
✔️ iOS/ Web/ Mac
- From the login page, select “Sign in with Apple”.
- You’ll be directed to a screen where you can log in or create your account.
- Tap on Log In, and you’re good to go!
This option is not available on Android or Windows, so we recommend choosing a different option if you wish to sync your account across those platforms as well.
Using Apple hidden ID: When using a hidden ID, Apple will generate a random email address for your account, which you can view under your Profile settings. The hidden ID must be used every time you wish to log-in and using the email associated with your actual Apple account will not enable you to
To create an account using a standard email and password
✔️ Android/ iOS/ Web/ Windows/ Mac
- From the login page, select the Email icon
- Type in your email, then tap on “Done” on your keyboard.
- Type in you name, and choose a password.
- Tap on “Create Account”, and you’re good to go!
To log out/ log in
To log-in to your account
✔️ Android/ iOS/ Web/ Windows/ Mac
- Open up Any.do on your device.
- Choose the same option as you have created the account with (see above).
- Follow the steps to log-in.
To log-out of your account
✔️ Android/ iOS
- Open a list\board view.
- Tap on the 3 dots menu on the top right side.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap “Profile” under Account.
- Tap on “Sign-out”.
✔️ Web/ Windows/ Mac
- Open the settings menu from the top left settings icon/ profile image next to your profile name.
- Tap “Profile” under Account.
- Select ‘log-out’.
Profile management
To change your account's email
✔️ Android/ iOS
- Open a list\board view.
- Tap on the 3 dots menu on the top right side.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap “Profile” under Account.
- Update your email by tapping the
icon to the right.
- Tap “Done” on your keyboard.
If you are trying to change your email but keep seeing the message “Oops, something went wrong”, then you might be using an incorrect password or trying to change to an email that already has an account associated with it. In order to fix this, you need to delete the account associated with that email first.
Note: At this time, there is no option to change your email on Web or desktop.
To change the name associated with your account
✔️ Android/ iOS
- Open a list\board view.
- Tap on the 3 dots menu on the top right side.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap “Profile” under Account.
- Update your name by tapping the
icon to the right.
- Tap “Done” on your keyboard.
✔️ Web/ Windows/ Mac
- Tap on your name from the top left side.
- Edit it.
- And save.
To change the account avatar
✔️ Android/ iOS
- Open a list\board view.
- Tap on the 3 dots menu on the top right side.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap “Profile” under Account.
- Tap on the “Add photo” or the old image to change the avatar.
✔️ Web/ Windows/ Mac
- Open the settings menu from the top left settings icon/ profile image next to your profile name.
- Tap on the + on the top or the old image to add a new one.
To change the account password
✔️ Android/ iOS
- Open a list\board view.
- Tap on the 3 dots menu on the top right side.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap “Profile” under Account.
- Change your password by pressing “Reset Password”. A reset email will be sent to your account’s email address.
✔️ Web/ Windows/ Mac
- Open the settings menu from the top left settings icon/ profile image next to your profile name.
- Tap “Profile” under Account.
- To change your password, press “Reset Password.”
To delete your Profile
✔️ Android/ iOS
- Open a list\board view.
- Tap on the 3 dots menu on the top right side.
- Tap on Settings.
- Tap “Profile” under Account.
- Select “Delete Account.”
✔️ Web/ Windows/ Mac
- Open the settings menu from the top left settings icon/ profile image next to your profile name.
- Tap “Profile” under Account.
- Select “Delete Account.”
Note: If you’re a Premium user or Team admin, make sure to first cancel your Premium plan or Teams plan as simply deleting the profile will not cancel it for you, and future payments may still occur. Keep in mind that account deletion is irreversible.

To submit data queries (GDPR)

- To have your data removed from our servers, please contact us at privacy@any.do directly from your Any.do email address. Be advised that deletion is irreversible and there will be no option to retrieve this data once removed.
- Note that we can only process requests submitted by the owner of the account, for privacy and security concerns.
