Any.do can be as simple or as structured as you want. A few small settings can make a big difference in how comfortable the app feels day to day. This guide walks through the most common account settings people customize, across mobile and desktop. Changes to your name, photo, or email address are managed separately in your profile.

These settings are available on all plans. Some personalization options (like certain themes or backgrounds) may vary by plan.

π§ Set the default view when you open Any.do
This helps you start in the view you use most, like My Day or Next 7 Days.

This changes how weeks display across calendar-style views.
On iOS or Android: Go to Settings, then adjust Week starts on.
On Web or Desktop: Go to Settings β Time Settings, then update Week starts on.

Mobile apps usually follow your device time settings. Web and Desktop let you manually control additional time settings.
On iOS or Android: Update your device settings for time zone and time format.
On Web or Desktop: Go to Settings β Time Settings to edit:

Themes and backgrounds can improve readability and make the view feel more personal.

Next to Theme, choose your preferred option.
Tip: On mobile, theme behavior will be affected by your device appearance settings (Light/Dark).

Under Theme, choose Auto, Light, or Dark.
Under Backgrounds, select a background.
Use the search option to browse additional backgrounds.
You can also change the background from My Day using the background icon (bottom right).
Note: There is currently no option to upload a personal image as a background.

Any.do does not include a built-in font size slider, but you can still increase readability.
iOS: Device Settings β Accessibility β Display & Text Size β Larger Text

β Set a default list for new personal tasks
This helps new tasks land in the right place automatically.
