Never miss a beat. This guide shows how to turn notifications on, choose sounds and badges, use the once‑a‑day Daily Push on mobile, and snooze reminders when life gets busy. Think: a ping to review your day at 9 AM, a gentle sound on phone for your bill reminder, or a quick Snooze when you are entering a meeting.
App notifications are available to all user types (free/Premium/Family/Workspace) on all supported devices (with slight variations per platform compatibility).
🔑 Turn on app notifications
Set up device permissions so Any.do can alert you when it matters.
Tip: If you recently installed the app, you may see a one‑time system prompt asking for permission. Tap Allow so reminders can be delivered.

😴 Snooze and Focus from a reminder
Act fast when a reminder pops up — without opening the full app. When a reminder appears on mobile, you will see quick actions:
Snooze – pick 15 minutes, 1 hour, 3 hours, Tomorrow, or Custom.
Focus – start a focused session on the task right away.
Done – complete the task in one tap.
📲 Availability
Snooze and Focus actions are available on mobile.
On Android, you can enable on‑top pop‑ups for instant Snooze options. On iOS, swipe on the notification to open Snooze options.
🛑 Turn off notifications (your way)
Keep the alerts you want and mute the rest.
💡 Tip: Looking to add tasks without reminders at all? Simply use the quick-add input button to choose 'someday' (instead of adding a specific due date) and the task will be added without a reminder.
🔔 Turn off a task’s reminder
Each reminder set via the app (whether automatically or by the user), will have a sound notifications as well as push notification shown at the due time (on Android, users can also get the pop-up reminder). If you do not wish to receive a reminder at the task's due date, you may simply opt to toggle-off this option:
🚫 Disable all app notifications
If you no longer wish to receive any type of notification from Any.do, you can opt to disable the notification-permissions. Be advised though that this will completely disable the app from sending any type of notifications for all app activities, including reminders and sharing-updates.
Looking to turn off email notifications? Family and Workspace members can simply use the 'unsubscribe' link in any of their email notifications to stop receiving email notifications.
