Learn how to seamlessly integrate your Google, Outlook, Apple, and additional calendars with Any.do

Updated over 2 months ago

Any.do's Calendar integration was specifically designed to help you best manage your busy schedule alongside your daily tasks. This feature allows Any.do's calendar view to mirror events from any of your preferred calendar clients, such as Google and Outlook.

On mobile (Android/iOS), you can easily enable this by allowing the app to access your device’s calendar permissions (detailed below). On desktop/Web, you can directly connect your Outlook and Google calendars through the app and register to additional calendars as needed (see details below). The calendar integration must be applied per device. Even if you have added your calendar via another device, you will still need to reintegrate it in each individual device you're using the app.

Once set up on each individual device you own, your calendar will show your tasks and events side by side and you will be able to easily manage and view your calendar events within your Any.do app. At this point you can also customize your calendar with different settings as detailed here.

Note: Any.do offers a calendar integration but does not provide an independent calendar; the calendar views are functional only with an integrated calendar client.

 How to integrate your Calendar via the iOS app

Any.do's iOS app for your iPhone or iPad syncs whatever native calendars you have in your device's linked accounts. As you first enter the app's Calendar View, you will be asked to connect your calendar, allowing app-permissions. Once confirmed, you will immediately see all connected calendars (you can also set this up later through the app's Settings).

If you are unable to see specific calendars or wish to add more calendar-accounts to your view, just make sure to add them through your device's settings:

🔐 To allow Any.do's calendar permissions on iOS

  1. Click the home button.

  2. Select the Calendar View (bottom right of your screen).

  3. Select "ADD MY CALENDAR".

  4. Select "Allow" to give Any.do access to your device's native calendar.

  5. Your device's native calendar will now appear in your Calendar View.

💡 Note: You can always access and approve the calendar permissions by going to Settings - Permissions in your Any.do app.

📆 To integrate additional calendars on iOS

  1. Enter your device’s Settings – Calendar -> Accounts

  2. Add your calendar’s credentials.

  3. Ensure this calendar is made visible in your Calendar View.

💡 Note: For Outlook Calendar, Make sure to add your account via Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync.

Note: The calendar integration must be applied per device. Even if you have added your calendar via another device, you will still need to reintegrate it in each individual device you're using the app.
