Any.do’s Smart Grocery Lists will make your shopping experience better than ever before! The feature will automatically sort your groceries into their respective aisles so that you can easily see everything you need from each aisle at once. It is specifically designed for mobile platforms only, to provide the ultimate on-the-go experience while shopping. The items will sync to other platforms and will look like regular tasks.

🛠️ How does it work?
You can add as many Smart Grocery Lists as needed.
When adding items to the Grocery List, the feature will automatically sort your groceries into their respective categories.
You can even customize the items so they'll fall into whichever aisle you choose!
A default list will be created until you choose to create one of your own, to which you can simply add as many items as you wish.
Note: Smart Grocery Lists are a mobile feature that will sync to the web app but without the categories. These lists will not be included in the Calendar, My Day and All Tasks/7 Days views as the items do not have any reminder/due dates associated with them and are not considered as standard tasks.

🛒 How to access Smart Grocery Lists
✔️ Android/ iOS
Enter the Grid View by tapping the home button on the lower left corner.
Smart Grocery Lists will be identified by the basket icon.
Tap the list title to view it.
Note: Smart Grocery Lists are a mobile feature that will sync to the web app but without the categories. These lists will not be included in the Calendar, My Day and All Tasks/7 Days views as the items do not have any reminder/due dates associated with them and are not considered as standard tasks.
➕ To add a new smart list
📱 Android/ iOS
Enter the Grid View by tapping the home button in the bottom left corner.
Tap the + icon to "Create a new list".
Enter the title of your new Grocery List
Enable the Grocery toggle ON in order to create the list as a Smart Grocery List.
Tap 'Done' from your keyboard and the list will be added under 'My Lists'
❌ ✍️ To delete or edit a smart list
📱 Android/ iOS
Enter the Grid View by tapping the home button in the bottom left corner.
Select the list you wish to edit\ delete.
Tap the menu button on the upper right corner.
Choose 'Edit list name'\ 'Delete list'.
🗂️ To change the category of an item
📱 Android/ iOS
Open the grocery list and tap the item you want to change the category of.
Tap on "Change category".
Choose your desired category to change it to from the list, and hit "Save."

✍️ To rename a Grocery List item
📱 Android/ iOS
Enter the Grid View by tapping the home button on the top left lower corner of the Tasks View.
Select your preferred Grocery List.
Tap on the item you wish to edit
Choose 'Rename' and modify per your requirements.
🔀 To move a Grocery List item to another list
📱 Android/ iOS
Enter the Grid View by tapping the home button in the bottom left corner.
Select your preferred Grocery List.
Tap on the item you wish to edit
Choose "Move to another list" and select the list you wish to move the item to.
🔁 To convert a Grocery List into a regular list
📱 Android/ iOS
Enter the Grid View by tapping the home button in the bottom left corner.
Select the list you'd like to convert.
Tap the menu button on the upper right corner.
Choose 'convert to a regular list'
Note: If you want to convert your list back to a grocery list, please contact our support team and they will assist.
⤴️ To export a Grocery List

Enter the Grid View by tapping the home button in the bottom left corner.
Select your preferred Grocery List.
Tap the menu icon on the top right corner.
Choose Export and select your preferred option.

Smart Grocery Lists will be identified by the basket icon.

➕ To add a new smart list

Enter the Grid View by tapping the home button in the bottom left corner.
Under the Family space tap the + icon
Select "Create a new grocery list".
💻 Web/ Windows/ Mac
From the left menu press the + next to the family space.
Select "Create a new grocery list".
Type in the name.
Select "Create".
👥 To share a Family Grocery List
📱 Android/ iOS
Open the Grocery List.
Press the "Add members" option under the last title.
If the list is already shared press the gray plus under the last title to add more members.
💻 Web/ Windows/ Mac
Open the Grocery List.
Press the "SHARE" option.
Add members.
💡 Note: Only Family users can share grocery lists.
🗂️ To change the category of a Family Grocery List item
📱 Android/ iOS
Open the grocery list and tap the item you want to change the category of.
Tap on "Change category".
Choose your desired category to change it to from the list, and hit "Save."
💻 Web/ Windows/ Mac
Click on the 3 dots option on the item.
Select "Move category".
Select the new category.
❌ To remove a member from a shared grocery list
📱 Android/ iOS
Open the Grocery List.
Open the 3 dot menu.
Tap on members.
Next the member tap on "Remove".
💻 Web/ Windows/ Mac
From the left menu press the + next to the family space.
Select "Create a new grocery list".
Type in the name.
Select "Create".
❌ To delete a Family Grocery List
📱 Android/ iOS
Enter the Grid View by tapping the home button in the bottom left corner.
Select the list you wish to delete.
Tap the menu button on the upper right corner.
Choose 'Delete list'.
💻 Web/ Windows/ Mac
From the left menu press the + next to the family space.
Open the list.
Press the 3 dots menu.
Select delete.
✍️ To edit a Family Grocery List
📱 Android/ iOS
Enter the Grid View by tapping the home button in the bottom left corner.
Select the list you wish to edit.
Tap on the title and edit the list name.
💻 Web/ Windows/ Mac
From the left menu press the + next to the family space.
Open the list.
Click on the list title and edit it.
⤴️ To export a Family Grocery List
📱 Android/ iOS
Enter the Grid View by tapping the home button in the bottom left corner.
Select your preferred Grocery List.
Tap the menu icon on the top right corner.
Choose Export and select your preferred option.
🔄 To convert a personal grocery list to a family grocery list
📱 Android/ iOS
Open the Grocery List.
Press the 3-dot icon on the top right.
Tap on "Move to family space".
💡 Note: Only Family users have this option.
This feature is only available on the mobile apps.
