π Accessing or Creating Smart Grocery Lists
You can easily access your existing Smart Grocery List or create a new one directly from the mobile app.
π± On Mobile (Android & iOS)
Tap the Home button (bottom-left) to enter the Grid View
Tap any list with a basket icon to open your Smart Grocery List
To create a new list: tap + New List β enable Grocery Toggle
π‘ You can create multiple Smart Grocery Lists. Family members can share up to 4 boards/grocery lists.
π» Web/Desktop (Family members only)
From the left menu press the + next to the family space.
Select "Create a new grocery list".
Type in the name.
Select "Create".
Note: Smart Grocery Lists are a mobile feature that will sync to the web app but without the categories. These lists will not be included in the Calendar, My Day and All Tasks/7 Days views as the items do not have any reminder/due dates associated with them and are not considered as standard tasks.

Add groceries quickly using typing, voice, or barcode scanning on mobile.

Tap into your Smart Grocery List
Use + Add Item to enter your groceries
Items will auto-sort into categories like Dairy, Produce, Bakery, etc.

Open any of your Grocery Lists.
Use the quick-add bar to enter your groceries
Groceries will appear as standard items on web/desktop for personal users. Family members will be able to see the grocery categories in the web/desktop apps.
βοΈ Editing or Reorganizing Grocery List Items
Once you tap an item in your Smart Grocery List, youβll be able to choose from several actions:
Rename β Change the name of the item.
Move to another list β Send the item to a different personal or family list.
Change category β Assign the item to a different grocery aisle.
π» Web/Desktop (Family members only)
Click on the 3 dots option on the item.
Select "Move category".
Select the new category.
Note: At this time there is no option to create custom-categories or edit existing categories.
π₯ Sharing the Grocery List with Family Members
If you're on a Family plan, you can share your Smart Grocery List with other members for real-time collaboration.

Open the grocery list
Tap the share icon or open the 3-dot menu and select Members
Tap Add Members or the + icon to invite family members
To remove a member, tap the 3-dot menu > Members > select Remove next to their name

Open the Grocery List.
Press the "SHARE" option.
Add members.

Open the 3 dot menu.
Tap on members.
Next the member tap on "Remove".

Select "Create a new grocery list".

π Converting Grocery Lists
Switch your Smart Grocery List to a standard task list when you need more advanced task features. You can convert a Smart Grocery List into a regular personal list:

Tap the 3-dot menu in your grocery list
Tap Convert to Regular List
π‘ Converted lists lose categorization but gain standard task functionality and appear in All Tasks/7 Days and Calendar views.You cannot convert a standard list back to a smart list. Please contact support if you need help restoring smart functions.
β€΄οΈ Exporting Grocery Lists
You can export your list to share it externally or save a backup copy.

Tap the 3-dot menu in the grocery list
Select Export and choose your method (email, file, etc.)
Family members can select the Share icon:
π Converting a personal grocery list to a Family grocery list
Grocery lists that were created in a personal account (prior to joining the Family plan) will require conversion in order to become part of the Family space and be shared with other members. This can be easily done from the mobile apps:

Press the 3-dot icon on the top right.
Tap on "Move to family space".

Not at this time. The shared grocery list is available only to Family members. However, as a Workspace user you may simply create a shared board and add your grocery items there (without smart categorization).
