Board members are able to collaborate on different tasks throughout the boardโs sections. If you want a member to take ownership of a task you can easily assign them to it from the Taskโs menu. Furthermore, whenever creating checklists for your tasks, different items within your checklist can be assigned to different people, regardless of the original task owner(s).

You can assign a task to any of your board members
You can assign a checklist to any board member (regardless of the task's owner)
You can assign multiple members to a single item
You can mention users through the task's Activity tab to tag them for response
Once a member has been mentioned they will get a board notification
