Any.do’s reminders are crucial in prompting you to do your tasks at the right time and helping you to not forget about your most important to-dos. Your Any.do reminder will notify you by playing an alert at the set reminder time/place. The app offers three different types of reminders: One-time, recurring, and location. These can be used in a variety of situations to ensure you don’t forget about a meeting, replace the filter each month, or remember to stop for groceries after leaving work.

Android

To set a reminder: 
1. Tap on the task for which you want to set a reminder.
2. Tap the reminder icon  underneath the task’s title.
3. Decide which type of reminder you need, and tap One-Time, Repeat, or Location to select it
4. Choose a pre-set time, or select “Custom” and input your preferred time.
5. Hit “Save.”

To edit a reminder: 
1. Select the task to open its Task Menu.
2. Select the reminder icon.
3. Tap the current reminder to open the date and time screens.

4. Modify your reminder per your preference

5. Tap ‘Ok’ and ‘Set’.

To switch your reminder type (one-time/recurring/location): 
1. Select the task to open its Task Menu.
2. Select the reminder icon.
3. Tap the option you would like to switch to.

4. Set your reminder time and date(s) or location (Premium).

To delete a reminder:
1. Tap on the task to open its menu.
2. Tap on the reminder icon .
3. Tap the trash icon  to reset the reminder.

If you delete a reminder on a shared task you will be the only one who sees this.

To change your reminder sound:

Android 7 and below –

1. From the app’s Settings, choose Sounds .
2. Select your preferred reminder tune.

Android 8 and above –

1. Go to your device Settings
2. Under Apps & Notifications, choose Any.do.
3. From there, go to App Notifications -> Reminder Notifications -> Sound.
4. Then, simply choose your preference and you’re done :).


iOS

To set a reminder: 
1. Tap on the task for which you want to set a reminder.
2. Decide which type of reminder you need, and tap One-Time, Repeat, or Location to select it

2. Decide which type of reminder you need – click Set Time for a custom reminder,  Daily/ Weekly/ etc. for ecurrence or select a reminder for ‘tomorrow’ or ‘next week’.
3. Choose a pre-set time, or select “Custom” and input your preferred time.
4. Hit “Save.”

To edit a reminder: 
1. Select the task to open its Task Menu.
2. Click the current reminder to open the date and time screens.

3. Modify your reminder per your preference

5. Click ‘Ok’ and ‘Set’.
