Lists are at the core of good organization. They’re crucial for grouping tasks to successfully execute a project or plan. With Any.do you can keep tabs on your lists and modify them to your requirements. You can reorganize your lists from under the navigation screen, as well as sort them into time categories by due date and export or print them individually. Lists can also be shared with others to collaborate toward specific goals.

Additionally, you can change your “Default List” to your liking, determining under which list new tasks will automatically go unless created under a specific folder.

Android

✔️To add a list: Open the navigation menu from the top left corner of your Task View and then press the button, which appears next to your Lists.

✔️To change a list’s name: Enter a list’s Task View and then either press the list’s name at the top of the screen to start editing the name, or press  and then “Edit list name.”

✔️To delete a list: Open a specific list via the navigation menu (top left corner of your Task View). Then, tap the list’s menu using the icon on the top right corner of the screen. Then press “Delete list”. This applies to standard lists only.

✔️To change the default list: Go to your Settings, press “Default List,” and change it to whichever list you want. Please note that a default list cannot be set under an Alexa list or a Smart Grocery list. 

✔️Minimizing categories: Press on the category you want to minimize. Minimized categories will display how many tasks are contained within them.


iOS

✔️To add a list: Open the navigation menu from the top left corner of your Task View and then press the button, which appears next to your Lists.

Web, Windows & Mac

✔️To add a list: Open your sidebar by pressing and then press the button. Type the name of your list, and choose ‘create’.

✔️To change a list’s name: Open your sidebar by pressing and click the pencil icon next to ‘Lists’ to enter edit mode. Then, click the pencil icon next to the specific list you wish to alter, edit its title and click ‘save’.

✔️To delete a list: Open your sidebar by pressing and click the pencil icon next to ‘Lists’ to enter edit mode. Then, click the pencil icon next to the specific list you wish to remove, choose ‘delete’. The list and all associated tasks will be removed immediately.

✔️To change the default list: Go to your Settings, press “Default List,” and change it to whichever list you want. Please note that a default list cannot be set under an Alexa list or a Smart Grocery list. 

✔️To reorder your lists: Open your sidebar by pressing and then press the pencil icon to edit. Drag and drop your lists according to the desired order and finish by clicking the check mark icon on top.

✔️Minimizing categories: Press on the category you want to minimize. Minimized categories will display how many tasks are contained within them.

✔️Switching between multi-column and single-column: There are two options for viewing your list on the Web App: multi-column and single-column. To switch between these, press on the icon within a specific list and choose your preference.
