📋 How to Create a Board from a Template
Templates help you skip the setup and get started right away with a ready-made structure tailored to common setups. Templates are plan-specific, so Family members will see Family templates, and Workspace members will see Workspace templates.
✨ Boards created from templates are fully editable.

Select Create from templates
Find your preferred template
Click Use this template

Finding the right template is quick and easy using filters or keyword search, so you can spend less time browsing and more time doing.

Save your favorite board setups and reuse them anytime by turning them into a custom template for your space.

Open the board you want to save
Click the 3-dot menu → Save as template
Add a name and optional description
Choose what to include:
Workflow only (sections only)
Workflow with content (sections + tasks)
Workflow with content and people (includes task assignees)
ℹ️ Custom templates are available to everyone in that space (Family or Workspace).

Keep your template library organized by updating or removing templates you no longer need.

Select Create from templates
Locate your custom template
Click Edit on the top right corner
Update the name or description, or delete the template entirely
⚠️ You cannot change the items a saved template includes (workflow/tasks/people).

Absolutely. Create the custom template in your space, name it, and ask the relevant Family member or Workspace member to use it when creating a new board.

Tags will be saved to your template once created. Automations and custom fields are not saved in the template.
